What It Does #
Segments let you group contacts by rules (conditions) so you can target them in email campaigns and other outreach. You define a segment name and one or more condition groups (e.g. “Contact tag equals VIP” AND “Last order date is in the last 30 days”). Each segment shows a contact count that you can refresh. Segments is a Pro feature.
Requirements #
- Helpmate Pro — Segments is a Pro feature.
- CRM Contacts — Segments are built from contact data and custom fields.
Where to Configure #
Go to Helpmate → CRM → Segments.
Create or Edit a Segment #
- Click Create Segment (or edit an existing segment).
- Enter Segment name.
- Add at least one condition group. Within each group you can add conditions based on contact fields (e.g. custom fields, email, status). Use AND/OR logic between groups and within groups.
- Save. The segment list shows Contacts count; use the refresh icon to recalculate.
Segment List #
The table shows:
- Name — Segment name
- Contacts — Count of contacts in the segment (with refresh button)
- Created — When the segment was created
- Actions — Edit, Delete
