What It Does #
Lead Capture collects leads from chat and social (e.g. Facebook Messenger, Instagram DM, WhatsApp). Leads appear in a list where you can view details, assign a lead to an existing contact, or create a new contact from the lead. This helps you turn conversations and form submissions into CRM contacts for follow-up and campaigns.
Requirements #
- Helpmate — Lead capture works with the chatbot and/or social channels. Some sources may require Pro or connected accounts (e.g. Auto DM & Comments, Social Chat).
- CRM — Leads are converted to or assigned to contacts.
Where to Configure #
Go to Helpmate → Automations → Marketing → Lead Capture. The page shows the leads list and actions per lead.
Leads List #
The table shows lead information such as name, email, source (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, chat widget), date/time captured, and whether the lead is assigned to a contact. You can search or filter leads and open a lead to see full details.
Actions on a Lead #
- Create contact — Create a new CRM contact from the lead’s data and link the lead to that contact.
- Assign to contact — Link the lead to an existing contact (search and select the contact).
- Edit — Update lead details if needed.
