What It Does #
Email Templates are reusable email designs used by Email Campaigns, Email Sequences, Abandoned Cart, Refund & Return, Appointments & Bookings, and other features. You create templates with a name, subject, and body (HTML supported), and you can use variables (e.g. {customer_name}, {order_number}) that are replaced when the email is sent. You can also start from library templates or restore default templates. Email Templates is a Pro feature.
Requirements #
- Helpmate Pro — Email Templates is a Pro feature.
- CRM — Templates are managed under Helpmate → CRM → Emails (Templates tab).
Where to Configure #
Go to Helpmate → CRM → Emails Templates.
Create or Edit a Template #
- Click Create Template or edit an existing one.
- Set Template name, Subject, and Email body (rich editor).
- Use variables in the subject and body where needed (e.g. for campaigns:
{customer_name},{customer_email}; for refund/return:{order_number},{return_refund_status}). Available variables depend on the feature using the template. - Save. The template then appears in dropdowns for campaigns, sequences, abandoned cart, refund/return, scheduling, etc.
Template List #
The table shows template name, subject, last updated, and actions (Edit, Delete). You can restore missing default templates (e.g. for Refund/Return or Abandoned Cart) if they were deleted.
