What It Does #
Promo Bar shows promotional banners at the top or bottom of your site. You can display ongoing deals, free shipping offers, limited-time announcements, or coupons. It creates a non-intrusive way to highlight offers and drive clicks or sales. Bars can be sticky (stay visible while scrolling), include countdown timers, and a call-to-action button.
Requirements #
No special requirements. Promo Bar works with the free Helpmate plan. One layout is free; additional layouts require Helpmate Pro.
Turn On Promo Bar #
- In the WordPress admin, go to Helpmate → Automations → Conversion → Promo Bar.
- Use the Enable Module switch at the top to turn the feature on.
- Click Create New to add a promo bar, or edit an existing one from the list.
When the module is enabled, promo bars appear on the frontend according to each bar’s display settings. You can create multiple promo bars and show them on different pages or via shortcode.
Promo Bar List #
The main table lists all promo bars. Each row shows:
- Title — The name you gave the promo bar (e.g. “Summer Sale”).
- Shortcode — Click to copy
so you can place the bar on specific pages. - Start Date and End Date — When the promo bar is active (if countdown is used).
- Created At — When the promo bar was created.
- Actions — Edit or Delete.
Use the search box to filter promo bars by title, and click Create New to add one.
General Settings #
