What It Does #
Appointments & Bookings (Scheduling) lets you offer bookable time slots to contacts and site visitors. You manage schedules (appointment requests), set availability by day and time, choose which form fields to show (name, email, phone, message, date, time), and optionally send confirmation/reminder emails using CRM email templates. You can create a contact from a schedule and link the schedule to that contact. Scheduling is a Pro feature.
Requirements #
- Helpmate Pro — Appointments & Bookings is a Pro feature.
- CRM — Schedules can be linked to contacts; email templates come from CRM → Email Templates.
Where to Configure #
Go to Helpmate → CRM → Appointments & Bookings. Use the Schedules and Settings tabs.
Schedules Tab #
Lists all appointment/schedule entries. You can filter by status (e.g. all, confirmed, pending, cancelled), update status, delete a schedule, or create a contact from a schedule (to link the schedule to the contact). Columns typically include name, email, phone, date, time, status, and actions.
Settings Tab #
- Enable — Turn the scheduling module on or off.
- Time slot duration — Length of each bookable slot (e.g. 30 minutes).
- Slot reserve minutes — How long a slot is held when someone is booking.
- Button text — Label shown in chat or on the booking trigger (e.g. “Get Appointments”).
- Availability — Per day of week (Monday–Sunday): enable/disable, start time, end time.
- Form fields — Choose which fields to show: Name, Email, Phone, Message, Date, Time.
- Email templates — Optional confirmation or reminder templates from CRM → Email Templates.
