What It Does #
CRM Contacts is your central contact database. You can create, edit, and delete contacts; link them to WordPress users; and view conversations, tickets, orders, emails, abandoned carts, notes, schedules, and tasks in tabbed contact details. Contacts can be filtered and searched, and they use custom fields and segments for organization and targeting.
Requirements #
- Helpmate — Contacts are part of the CRM; no extra plugins required. Some features (e.g. higher limits) may require Pro.
Where to Configure #
Go to Helpmate → CRM → Contacts.
Contact List #
The contacts table shows key fields (e.g. name, email, status, created) and supports search and filters. Use Add Contact to create a new contact. Open a row to view or edit contact details.
Contact Details #
When you open a contact, you see tabs such as:
- Conversations — Chat and message history
- Tickets — Support tickets
- Orders — WooCommerce orders
- Emails — Email history
- Abandoned Carts — Abandoned cart records
- Notes — Internal notes
- Schedules — Appointments and bookings
- Tasks — Linked tasks
Contact form fields include prefix, first name, last name, email, phone, date of birth, address (line 1 and 2, city, state, zip, country), status, optional WordPress user link, and any custom fields you defined for contacts.
